Harbour Gives Back: Habitat For Humanity
We’re very proud to highlight one of our favorite organizations to partner with: Habitat For Humanity. Since 1976, they’ve helped more than 39 million people improve their living conditions and given families a place to call home – and currently work in more than 70 countries. Also since 1976, the Condos family has crafted handmade furniture in their Sydney workshop. This year, Harbour has happily gifted a generous amount of furniture as in-kind donations to this wonderful cause.
Habitat For Humanity brings families, local communities, volunteers and partners from around the world together to create affordable and safe homes. They also advocate for policy reform to remove systemic barriers preventing low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate, affordable shelter.
With locations around the country, it was easy for us to identify the best location to partner with. We’ve loved working with Habitat For Humanity’s Anaheim location, bringing handcrafted furniture to individuals and families in need in California’s Orange County area.
And we’re grateful to Roy Ardizzone, our Director of Showroom Experience, who’s brought us into his own 20-year tradition of working with Habitat For Humanity. Being part of such a deeply personal and moving process – creating functional and beautiful spaces that bring people together – has been incredibly rewarding for us as a company.
