Harbour Celebrates Design Miami With An Art-Filled Open House
Our brand-new showroom in the Miami Design District recently set the stage for creativity and innovation during Miami Design Week. We kicked things off on Wednesday, December 6th, with a celebration hosted by Harbour co-founders Nick and Harrison Condos featuring cocktails, music and a mesmerizing live art installation by acclaimed artist — and close friend of Harbour — James Goldcrown. Originally, Design Miami was established in 2005 as an influential design fair by Dacra's Craig Robins to complement the international art fair, Art Basel Miami Beach — and our event joyfully paid homage to both.
Our new Miami showroom, right in the heart of the Design District, was the perfect stop for inspiration, as guests explored our curated outdoor collections and discovered our latest designs. Known for its avant-garde architecture and artistic energy, the Design District is very much in sync with our own passion for unique design.
The highlight of the evening was James Goldcrown’s live art installation — whose work is celebrated the world over for its vibrant colors and powerful expressions of love. As visitors toured the showroom, his art gracefully unfolded in a real-time, immersive experience that added a dynamic element to the evening. Guests became part of his artistic process, interacting with the piece and co-creating with the artist.
Design Miami has grown to become the largest gathering of its kind, drawing collectors, gallerists, designers, curators and critics from around the world. We were honored to be able to host our community and pay homage to Design Miami’s legacy — and are excited to join the innovative minds shaping the future of design in Miami. Let’s do it all again next year, yeah
